Compatibility Chart
Tempest makes use of your phone’s own Gyroscope sensor, so that the base itself needs no electronics or batteries! As long as your phone has a true Gyroscope sensor it will work (Note: all Apple phones have true gyroscopes, as do most Android models. But not all. Some low cost Android models exists with cheaper 'gyros' that are useful to switch from portrait to landscape but not the quick and accurate tilt sensing required for Tempest game play. It's rare to find these models, but check below if you're not sure).
Use the chart below as a guideline. All iOS models work. But there are thousands of Android phone models on the market, all the major ones are listed here, but if you don’t see yours listed below, click here to find your exact model, and scroll down to ‘Features’ to see if “Gyroscope” is listed. That’s all that’s required.

These are just the major models. 99% of modern phones have gyroscopes. Some brands released a minority of economy versions of their Android phones omitting this sensor.
